Sausage with Pickled Tomatoes
Sausage with Pickled Tomatoes
Ingredients
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. McCormick Pickling Spice
1 cup halved grape tomatoes
1/4 of a thinly sliced red onion
4 to 6 bratwurst or chicken sausages
Directions

Prep: 10 minutes  Stand: 30 minutes  Serves: 4 to 6

Bring 1/4 cup each: red wine vinegar and water and 1 tsp. each: sugar, sea salt and McCormick Pickling Spice to a boil in a small saucepan. Place 1 cup halved grape tomatoes and 1/4 of a thinly sliced red onion in a glass bowl and pour hot liquid over the top. Let cool. Grill 4 to 6 bratwurst or chicken sausages over medium heat for 10 minutes or until cooked through, turning frequently. Place in toasted buns and top with pickled tomatoes and onions.
