Hot Tri Tip Dips

Hot Tri Tip Dips
Ingredients
1 tbsp. butter
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 Bakery Baguette, halved lengthwise
1 rotisserie tri tip from our Deli, very thinly sliced and warmed
2 slices provolone cheese, halved
2/3 cup water
1/3 cup Johnny's Au Jus
1/3 cup thick steak sauce
Directions
Prep: 10 minutes, Cook: 25 minutes, Serves: 4 to 6

1. Preheat oven to 375ºF.

2. Melt butter in a large skillet. Add
onion and cook for 10 minutes or until very soft.

3. Place baguette bottom on a baking sheet; top with onion,
tri tip and cheese. Cover with baguette top and bake
for 5 to 10 minutes or until bread is crispy and hot.

4. Meanwhile, stir together water, au jus and steak sauce
in a small saucepan; simmer until hot. Cut into 4 to 6
sandwiches;serve with small bowls of au jus for
dipping.
