Hot Tri Tip Dips
Hot Tri Tip Dips
Ingredients
1 tbsp. butter
1 large onion thinly sliced
1 Fine Bakery Baguette halved lengthwise
1 rotisserie tri tip from our Deli very thinly sliced and warmed
2 slices provolone cheese halved
2/3 cup water
1/3 cup Johnny's Au Jus
1/3 cup thick steak sauce
Directions
Prep time: 10 minutes, Cook time: 25 minutes

Preheat oven to 375ºF. Melt butter in a large skillet. Add
onion and cook for 10 minutes or until very soft. Place
baguette bottom on a baking sheet; top with onion,
tri tip and cheese. Cover with baguette top and bake
for 5 to 10 minutes or until bread is crispy and hot.
Meanwhile, stir together water, au jus and steak sauce
in a small saucepan; simmer until hot. Cut into 4 to 6
sandwiches;serve with small bowls of au jus for
dipping.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
