Mini Burger Buffet

Mini Burger Buffet
1 (25- oz.) package Bridgford Parkerhouse Rolls (in frozen foods section)
2 tbsp. melted butter
Poppy or sesame seeds
3 lb. lean ground beef
Salt and pepper
Prep time: 30 minutes
Rise time: 45 minutes
Cook time: 21 to 25 minutes total

Place frozen rolls on 2 baking sheets lined with parchment paper; let stand until thawed. Press each roll into a 3-inch flat circle; let stand in a warm spot for 45 minutes to rise. Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush each roll lightly with melted butter and sprinkle with seeds. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool completely before cutting in half horizontally. To prepare burgers, divide ground beef into 24 equal pieces; press into very flat burgers and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes on each side. Serve on buns with optional sauces (Spicy Honey Chipotle Sauce, Mediterranean Tomato, Olive and Pepper Topper and Sweet Cherry Barbecue sauce – see separate recipes or do a find for mini burger buffet and they will show up).

Makes 24 small burgers.
