Grilled Steaks with Detroit Zip Sauce

Grilled Steaks with Detroit Zip Sauce
1/4 cup butter
1-1/2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1-1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. crushed rosemary
1 tsp. crushed parsley
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 lb. grilling steaks (Sutter Sirloin, New York or coulotte steaks)
Prep time: 15 minutes, Cook time: about 10 minutes
Stand time: 5 minutes, Makes: 4 to 6 servings

Melt butter in a small saucepan. Add all remaining ingredients except steaks; cook over low heat for 1 minute and set aside. (May be made up to 2 days ahead and stored covered in the refrigerator.) Grill steaks over medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking. Remove from grill to a platter and cut each steak in half. Heat butter mixture to melt and spread over steaks. Turn steaks over and cover with foil; let stand for 5 minutes.
Wine Suggestion
a hearty red wine, like a Shiraz, Malbec or Spanish blend
