Moroccan Harissa Paste
Moroccan Harissa Paste
2 cups roasted red bell pepper strips
2 tbsp. each: olive oil and lime juice
1 tsp. each: cayenne pepper, ground cumin, ground coriander and salt
2 cloves garlic
*Tip: A coffee grinder works well for grinding caraway seeds
Purée all ingredients until smooth. (Increase cayenne pepper for a spicier harissa.) Spread onto the surface of your holiday turkey or ham.
