Moroccan Harissa Paste for Ham or Turkey
2 cups roasted red bell pepper strips
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. lime juice
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. ground caraway*
1 tsp. ground coriander
1 tsp. salt
2 cloves garlic

1. Purée all ingredients until smooth. (Increase cayenne pepper for a spicier harissa.)

2. Spread onto the surface of your holiday turkey or ham.

*Tip: A coffee grinder works well for grinding caraway seeds
