Lone Star Cheese Dip

Lone Star Cheese Dip
1 lb. shredded Mexican blend cheese (4 cups)
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. Morton & Bassett Mexican Blend Seasoning
1 cup beer
1 (3- oz.) package cream cheese
1/2 cup fresh salsa
1 (4- oz.) can diced green chiles
Roasted garlic bread or tortilla chips

Prep: 10 minutes, Cook: 5 to 10 minutes, Makes: 3 cups

1. In a bowl, toss together Mexican cheese, flour and Mexican seasoning; set aside.

2. Heat beer in a medium saucepan over low heat until simmering. Slowly stir in cheese mixture, a little at a time, stirring constantly until cheese is melted.

3. Add cream cheese; cook just until cream cheese is melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in salsa and green chiles; cook for 1 to 2 minutes more or until very hot.

4. Keep warm and serve with bread chunks or tortilla chips.
