Lone Star Cheese Dip

Lone Star Cheese Dip
1 lb. Mexican blend cheese (4 cups) shredded
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. Morton & Bassett Mexican Blend Seasoning
1 cup beer
1 (3- oz.) package cream cheese
1/2 cup fresh salsa
1 (4- oz.) can green chiles diced
Old World Style Roasted Garlic Bread or tortilla chips cut into chunks
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 5 to 10 minutes

In a bowl, toss together Mexican cheese, flour and
Mexican seasoning; set aside.

Heat beer in a medium saucepan over low heat
until simmering. Slowly stir in cheese mixture, a
little at a time, stirring constantly until cheese is
melted. Add cream cheese; cook just until cream
cheese is melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in
salsa and green chiles; cook for 1 to 2 minutes
more or until very hot. Keep warm and serve with
bread chunks or tortilla chips.

Makes 3 cups.
