Hot and Sour Soup
Hot and Sour Soup
2 (1.34- oz.) packages Sun•Bird Hot and Sour Soup Mix
6 cups water
2 cups rotisserie chicken coarsely shredded
1 (14- oz.) package extra firm tofu (in our produce dept.) cut into julienne strips
1 cup bamboo shoots julienne strips
1/2 cup green onions (green tops only) sliced
Prep: 10 minutes Cook: 10 minutes Serves: 6

1. Stir together soup mix and water in a medium saucepan; bring
to a boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat and simmer for 5
minutes to thicken.
2. Stir in chicken, tofu and bamboo shoots; cook for
5 minutes more.
3. Ladle into bowls and sprinkle with green onions.
Wine Suggestion
Pair with Ménage à Trois Rosé California. Think pink – bright strawberries cool the spice.
