Grilled Steak with Chipotle Onions
Grilled Steak with Chipotle Onions
2 medium white onions, sliced 1/2 -inch thick
3 cloves garlic, peeled
3 tbsp. lime juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
4 boneless Raley's Black Angus Beef steaks
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 cup Frontera Chipotle Salsa
Salt to taste
Lime wedges (optional)
Additional salsa (optional)

1. Puree 1/4 of the onion, garlic, lime juice, salt and cumin in a blender or food processor until smooth. Transfer to a large resealable plastic bag and add steaks; refrigerate for 1 to 8 hours.

2. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add remaining onions and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden. Stir in salsa and cook until salsa thickens; season to taste with salt.

3. Grill steaks to desired doneness; top with onions and serve with lime wedges and additional salsa.

Makes 4 servings.
