Bacon Wrapped Pork with Barbecued Onions

Bacon Wrapped Pork with Barbecued Onions
4 strips bacon
4 Raley's boneless pork loin chops (preferably 1 -inch thick)
2-1/2 tsp. dry barbecue seasoning (such as Weber or McCormick brands)
2 medium onions, sliced 1/4 -inch thick
1/2 cup Stubb's Hickory Bourbon Bar-B-Q Sauce or your favorite barbecue sauce

Prep: 10 minutes, Cook: 20 minutes, Serves: 4

1. Wrap a strip of bacon around the edges of each pork chop and secure with toothpicks; season on both sides with barbecue seasoning.

2. Grill pork and onions over medium heat for 10 minutes, turning once.

3. Transfer onions to a large piece of heavy duty foil and top with barbecue sauce; seal foil, leaving room for air to circulate. Cook pork and onions for 10 minutes more or until pork is cooked through and onions are very soft. Top pork with cooked onions.

Wine Suggestion
Zinfandel - Zinfandel and barbecue are a match made in grilled heaven.

These were so good and moist. I did in oven under grill instead of outside. A new favorite. Will definitely make again.
