Balsamic Apple Topper

Balsamic Apple Topper
Ingredients
1 tsp. olive oil
1 Granny Smith apple peeled, cored and chopped
1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp. honey
Grilled or baked salmon, chicken or pork
1 tbsp. snipped fresh basil
Directions
Prep time: 10 minutes,
Cook time: about 7 minutes

Heat olive oil in a small nonstick skillet
over medium heat. Add apples and cook over
medium-low heat for about 5 minutes or until
softened. Stir in vinegar and honey and cook
for a minute or two more. Serve over salmon,
chicken or pork and top with snipped fresh
basil.

Makes 2 servings.
