These are just some of the ways we’re supporting our communities in the midst of this unprecedented crisis. We’ve got resources so you can help your neighbors or get assistance, too.
Make a donation to Food For Families to help us get food to at-risk individuals who need it most. 100% of your donation will go toward alleviating hunger.
Together with Sacramento Republic FC, we will be delivering over 800 of our Ready to Eat Meals bags to seniors in need.
In partnership with Volunteers of America, we have provided over $100,000 in food donations for our most vulnerable populations.
We’ve partnered up with the Sacramento County Sheriff Outreach Team to delivery over $1,000 in food to those who need help.
We have donated bags to Sacramento City Unified School District, Alameda County Community Food Bank and Redwood Empire Food Bank. We have given over $100,000 in donations to non-profit organizations providing support to communities that are struggling even if they are unable to fulfill programs such as field trips. We have also given $5 million in team member bonuses to thank them for their hard work and dedication and paid over $5 million in sick leave to make it possible for our workers to stay home if needed.
We have coordinated support with our amazing vendors and partner organizations to provide food donations and relief, such as Harris Ranch, Pacific Seafood, Lazarus Naturals, California Rangeland Trust and Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services. We’re also coordinating sales and direct deliveries of bulk orders of our Essentials Bags to hospitals, first responders and retirement communities.
Here are some ways you can give back in your community and make things easier for someone in need.
With so many people out of work, struggling to make ends meet and in self-isolation, help us fight hunger in our communities.
