Team Members & Safety

Caring for Our Team Members

We are proud of our hardworking team members, who continue to serve our communities. As the situation evolves, we remain committed to putting the safety of our team members and customers first. We are confident in our team members. And in partnership with you, our customers, we will come through this challenging time, together.

We are providing all hourly team members with three community service rewards based on hours worked. The first two rewards were issued in April and May, and the third will be issued in June.

We are supplementing, at no additional cost or burden to our team members, Raley’s already generous paid time off and leave policies.

Any team member placed into quarantine, diagnosed with COVID-19 or needed to take care of an immediate family member will receive a leave of absence with supplemental pay.

Team Member Safety

As of 4/16, we are requiring all team members to wear a mask or face covering while working. We have provided all team members with face coverings.

We have implemented daily temperature screenings for team members prior to their shifts.

We continue to educate team members about personal hygiene best practices, viral prevention and our sanitation policies. Team members are being relieved in order to wash their hands often and encouraged to use hand sanitizer following contact with any person or common surface.

We are following social distancing guidelines and recommending that team members remain 6′ from customers and other team members whenever possible.

We have installed check stand and pharmacy protective shields in all stores and are not permitting our team members to handle any reusable bags.

Team members who have jobs based in our Support Center are empowered to choose to work from home if they are able.
