Nicole Townsend

 

Nicole Townsend champions a meaningful team member experience and leads learning solutions, leadership development and organizational communication.

She knows the team member experience firsthand, starting as a courtesy clerk at Raley’s in college. After graduating from CSU, Sacramento with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, she was a newspaper reporter for five years before moving into media relations. Nicole re-joined Raley’s in corporate communications in 2001 and has worked in both the human resources and marketing functions. In 2015, she was named Vice President and joined Raley’s Executive Steering Committee. The following year, she was honored as a Top Woman in Grocery in 2016 by Progressive Grocer magazine.

Nicole enjoys constant learning and helping people identify their passions and purpose. She is a Trustee on the California Grocers Association Educational Foundation board and graduate of Leadership California’s Current Issues & Trends program for female leaders. Nicole lives in Lincoln with her husband, Lloyd, and their two children.
