Feeding At-Risk Seniors

Raley’s and the Sacramento County Sheriff Community Outreach Team are partnering to help get essentials to those who are age 65 or older in self-isolation.

We’ve partnered with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department to deliver our Ready to Eat Meals bags to seniors in need. We lean on referrals from our call center and customer emails ,and track deliveries in a shared Google spreadsheet and t. The Sheriff’s Department uses their welfare check system and known vulnerable population areas to identify potential recipients. Raley’s donates our Ready to Eat Meals Bags and Deputies with the Community Outreach Team deliver them. We have donated and delivered 30-40 bags at this time and will continue to do so during the coronavirus crisis.

Our $35 Ready to Eat Meals Bags come with freshly cooked, heat-and-eat entrées and salads. Product mix depends upon availability, but may include:

  • (1) Ready-to-Go Chicken Alfredo
  • (1) Ready-to-Go Mac & Cheese
  • (1) Ready-to-Go Chicken Enchilada with Verde Sauce
  • (2) Fresh Green Salads
  • (1) Purely Made Chicken Tortilla Soup
  • (1) Purely Made Chicken Noodle Soup
  • (1) Purely Made Sacratomato Soup

Please help us get food to our at-risk community members by making a donation to Food For Families.
