French Subtlety

“Bordeaux or wines from the Rhone are great pairings with roasted or braised meats. Not being fruit forward makes them easier to pair with food because they will not dominate the dish. My favorite holiday tradition is to open a bottle of Bordeaux with dinner and then open a nice Napa or Washington Cabernet with dessert.”

Meat Your Match

“Turkey pairs well with Syrah, Zinfandel or Riesling. Ham pairs well with Rosé, Grenache or Moscato. Prime rib pairs well with Cabernet, Merlot or Barolo. And seafood pairs well with Pinot Gris, Barbera or Chardonnay.”
