Lemon Garlic Grilled Portabella Mushrooms
Rich, buttery and indulgent, you’d never miss meat with this vegetarian Lemon Garlic Grilled Portabella recipe. These are delicious by themselves or as a burger substitute in a sandwich. Try them at your next summer barbecue!
12 large portabella mushrooms
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. Raley's Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 medium cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 tsp. Raley's Mediterranean Sea Salt
1 1/2 tsp. Raley's Ground Black Pepper
Remove mushroom stems and discard. Rinse caps, pat dry and place on a tray.
Preheat grill to about 350 degrees F.
Combine butter, oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper in a small saucepan over medium-low heat on stovetop. Cook until the mixture is simmering. Remove sauce from heat and brush caps with sauce.
Grill mushrooms about 7 minutes on each side or until browned with grill marks and tender. Serve immediately.
