Recipe: Let’s Go Asian-Style Chicken Salad

Ingredients

  • ☐ 1- 14-ounce bag Raley’s Three Color Deli Coleslaw
  • ☐ 2 carrots, shredded
  • ☐ 1 - 10 ounce can Raley’s premium white chunk chicken breast
  • ☐ 1 – 11 ounce can Raley’s Mandarin oranges
  • ☐ 1/4 cup Newman’s Own Low-fat Sesame Ginger Dressing
  • ☐ 2 tbsp sliced almonds
  • ☐ whole wheat pita bread or whole grain wrap
  • ☐ lime, quartered
  • ☐ sesame seeds, optional
  • ☐ wonton noodles, optional
  • ☐ French’s Fried Onions, optional


Instructions:

  1. Drain the chicken and the Mandarin oranges.
  2. Wash and chop or shred carrots.
  3. Flake chicken with a fork.
  4. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl or zip top plastic bag.
  5. Top with optional ingredients.
  6. Serve in whole wheat pita pockets or whole grain wraps.
