Simple Grape & Cheddar Skewers paired with California Sparkling Wine

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches California Table Grapes, we used red + black
  • 8 oz. Sharp Cheddar, such as Graziers, cut into bite sized wedges
  • 1 bunch basil, whole leaves pulled from stems
  • To serve: Extra Virgin Olive Oil & flaky sea salt
  • Wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. Place a grape at the tip of a skewer, and then thread the ingredients in a pattern: cheddar wedge, basil leaf, grape – and repeat until the skewer is full, with room remaining to grab the skewers at the bottom.
  2. Arrange the finished skewers on a serving tray or platter, and drizzle with a bit of olive oil and sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Serve immediately.
