Tri Tip Sliders

Smoky garlic and Korean BBQ sauce make this tri tip sliders recipe irresistible—make sure you score one before they’re gone.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lbs. Raley's natural dry rubbed tri tip roast, smoky garlic onion
  • 2 ea. artisan baguettes
  • 1 Tbsp. Raley's extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 c. Raley's diced onions
  • 8 oz. Raley's colby jack natural sliced cheese
  • 1 c. barbecue sauce
  • 1 10 oz. coleslaw kit with dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Place tri tip in roasting pan and cook about 45 minutes or until tri tip reaches 145 degrees F or cooked to desired doneness. Allow to rest for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a medium sauté pan over medium high heat. Add onions and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Mix coleslaw with dressing in medium bowl; set aside. Slice tri tip; set aside.
  5. Cut baguettes in half horizontally. Place on baking sheet. Top bottom half with barbecue sauce, onion, sliced tri tip and cheese slices. Place in oven and cook until cheese is melted and top half of baguette begins to brown.
  6. Remove from oven and top with coleslaw. Place top half of bread on top. Slice into 2 1/2" slider sandwiches. Optional: secure sandwiches with toothpicks.
  7. Optional: top with other sandwich favorites and get creative! For example, bacon bits or pickles!
