Terms & Conditions: You Count Policies and Rules

I. Summary

All Eligible Team Members (defined below) are eligible to receive the You Count discount on purchases made at Raley's, Bel Air and Nob Hill Foods locations. This discount applies to the purchase of certain products and services for household use when using their Something Extra account.

The discount may be used only for products and services purchased for an Eligible Team Member's and/or Eligible Household Member's (defined below) own use.

Raley's reserves the right to amend or change the You Count discount program at any time with or without notice.

Certain products and services, including those listed in the Provisions section below, are excluded from the discount. Raley's reserves the right to amend the list of products or services for which the discount is offered at any time with or without notice.

All rules governing use of an Eligible Team Member's Something Extra account apply to the You Count discount program as well.

II. Provisions

Eligible Team Members
1. All regular, active team members.
2. Team members who are on an approved paid or unpaid leave of absence are eligible for the You Count benefit.

Eligible Household Members
1. An Eligible Team Member may permit anyone living in his or her household to use his or her Something Extra Loyalty Number and earn the You Count discount to make purchases solely for that team member's household.

You Count Activation
1. Eligible Team Members will need to register for the Something Extra program. Once registered they can go to https://www.raleys.com/cfapps/youcount/login.cfm and input their Something Extra account information in order to activate the You Count discount.
2. Ability to use the You Count discount will be deactivated upon termination of employment.

Using The Benefit
1. The You Count discount is a privilege extended to Eligible Team Members and Eligible Household Members for personal use. It is the responsibility of the Eligible Team Member, and Eligible Household Members using the benefit, to understand and adhere to this policy; the Eligible Team Member is ultimately responsible for Eligible Household Members' compliance with this policy.
2. You must “clip” the You Count offer (from our App or raleys.com) each month in order for the discount to be applied.
3. The Something Extra Loyalty Number or Something Extra Card must be used during your transaction at any Raley's, Bel Air, or Nob Hill Foods in order for the discount to be applicable. The You Count benefit will not be applied retroactively to purchases made without a Something Extra account.
4. Eligible Team Members and Eligible Household Members may not purchase products or services for resale or reimbursement. Any misuse of the You Count benefit for personal gain or profit is a violation of company policy.
5. The You Count discount program replaces any other previous team member discount program.
6. To ensure the You Count discount use is limited to personal, household consumption, Raley's may in its discretion limit the amounts to which the discount may be applied. Excessive use of the You Count discount could result in an audit of a team member's account.

List of Excluded Products and Services

Returning Merchandise
1. Every effort should be made to return merchandise with an accompanying receipt.
2. If a team member returns merchandise with a receipt, the merchandise will be returned or exchanged at the price paid according to the original receipt, less any You Count discount amount indicated on the receipt.

Discovering Errors
1. It is the team member's responsibility to immediately verify that the correct You Count benefit has been processed at the point of sale or return. Any errors should be corrected at that time. No You Count discount will be applied once the transaction in complete. Errors discovered at a later date should be immediately reported to the store where the transaction occurred.

Violating the You Count Policy
1. Abusing the You Count discount, or otherwise failing to adhere to the You Count Policy by an Eligible Team Member or an Eligible Household Member is a serious violation of company policy and can result in the loss of the You Count benefit and discipline of the team member, up to and including, termination of employment.
2. It is the responsibility of all You Count recipients to understand and adhere to the policy. It is the team member's responsibility to ensure that their household members understand and practice proper You Count benefit use.
3. Violation of the You Count Policy includes, but is not limited to:
  1. Allowing someone who is not eligible for the discount to use your Something Extra account number.
  2. Purchasing merchandise with the discount for people who are not eligible for the discount (e.g. friends, relatives) and being reimbursed by them.
  3. Returning merchandise purchased using the discount benefit and receiving back a higher amount than the purchase price paid.
  4. Any misuse of the You Count discount for personal gain or profit.
4. Team members should promptly notify store leadership if they are aware of another team member who is incorrectly using the discount benefit.
5. The You Count discount program may be modified and/or rescinded at any time by Raley's.
