2017 Northern California Fires

When wildfires destroyed thousands of homes across 30,000 acres in Napa and Sonoma counties in October 2017, Raley’s responded in a big way. Within a few hours of the fires igniting, we dispatched trucks filled with food and supplies to the affected area. We also fed firefighters and displaced residents as the crisis unfolded over days and weeks. And we partnered with food banks and evacuation centers to reach more people in need, with our local team members personally delivering items to various community outlets. As rebuilding efforts began, Raley’s donated $500,000 to the Santa Rosa Unified School District to help rebuild their working farm, which supported students through ag literacy, nutrition education and workforce development.
