August 19, 2021 – Relief efforts are active and ongoing.
The impacts of climate change were seen in unprecedented weather events across the country, including wildfires that burned throughout Northern California and Nevada. We supported our emergency response partners with donations for victims and evacuees.
Caldor Fire Support
- Donated $20,000 in Raley’s gift cards for the El Dorado County Community Foundation
- Donated $30,000 in food and beverage
- Provided two refrigeration trucks for nonprofit emergency response partners to use as warehouse staging
River Fire Support
Currently, the organizations with whom we are working are supporting both affected communities.
We have partnered to donate 24 pallets of bottled water and over 250 cases of shelf stable foods and fresh sandwiches to Placer Food Bank and the Nevada County Fairgrounds Evacuation Center.
We are continuing to send donations out on an as-needed basis.
