Caring for Our Team Members
We are proud of our hardworking team members, who continue to serve our communities. As the situation evolves, we remain committed to putting the safety of our team members and customers first. We are confident in our team members. And in partnership with you, our customers, we will come through this challenging time, together.
We have provided in our stores, distribution centers, pharmacies, production bakery and support center with four community service rewards. These rewards were issued in April, May, June and August.
We are supplementing, at no additional cost or burden to our team members, Raley’s already generous paid time off and leave policies.
Team Member Safety
We are requiring all team members to wear a mask or face covering while working in accordance with applicable state and local orders. We have provided all team members with face coverings.
We have implemented daily temperature screenings for team members at the start of their shifts.
We continue to educate team members about personal hygiene best practices, viral prevention and our sanitation policies. Team members are being relieved in order to wash their hands often and encouraged to use hand sanitizer following contact with any person or common surface.
We are following social distancing guidelines and recommending that team members remain 6′ from customers and other team members whenever possible.
We have installed checkstand and pharmacy protective shields in all stores.
Team members who have jobs based in our Support Center are empowered to choose to work from home if they are able.
