WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. – In partnership with the Murieta Marketplace Associates, Raley’s announced their plans for a new Bel Air Market in Rancho Murieta. The new development construction began in July, with the official announcement taking place at the 2019 Rancho Murieta Summerfest. The development will be complete and open to the public in Spring 2020.
In response to community requests, Raley’s will develop a new Bel Air, offering fresh grocery items, grab-and-go prepared foods, and a full-service deli, sushi, and bakery department. This new store extends Raley’s vision to infuse life with health and happiness and will offer an extensive variety of natural and organic products. It will also serve Raley’s commitment to making customers’ lives easier and grocery shopping more convenient by offering online ordering, personal shopping, and pickup service through eCart.
“We are pleased to move forward with the new, full-service Bel Air, which will provide our customers with a Raley’s branded shopping experience based on exceptional customer service and a full product offering,” said Keith Knopf, Raley’s President & Chief Executive Officer. “We have long been committed to the Rancho Murieta area and look forward to becoming an even bigger part of the community through this new store.”
Since spring of 2017, Raley’s has been operating on an interim basis Murieta Market in the Plaza shopping center. The store will remain open during the construction of the new Bel Air and will be returned to the landlord shortly after the new store is open.
Bel Air Market will serve as the flagship store for the Murieta Marketplace project, which will include an additional 44,000 sq. ft. for other shops and restaurants. More local and regional tenants will be announced at a later date.
Renderings of the new store were showcased to guests of the 2019 Rancho Murieta Summerfest. To stay up on store progress, follow Raley’s Facebook page.
