Raley’s Taking Action to Protect Team Members

Raley’s is committed to supporting our communities and team members through this time of crisis. We continue to modify our operations to mitigate potential exposure and to ensure our stores are as safe of an environment as possible.

To help protect our team members, we have increased the frequency of our already stringent sanitation standards, especially on frequently touched hard surfaces. We continue to reinforce team member education regarding viral prevention and Raley’s sanitation policies, and we recommend that they practice social distancing by remaining 6′ from customers and other team members whenever possible. They are encouraged to wash their hands often and use hand sanitizer following contact with any person or common surface. We have installed check-stand and pharmacy protective shields in all stores and adjusted protocols to allow for gloves and masks to be worn by team members who want them. We have temporarily stopped team members from handling customers’ reusable bags and started taking team members’ temperatures before their shifts. We are also supplementing our already generous paid time off and leave policies to provide team members who are feeling sick the peace of mind to go home to get well.
