Certified Non-GMO by third party organization.

A genetically modified organism (GMOs) is a plant, animal or other organism whose genetic makeup has been modified using genetic engineering techniques. Some crops that are commonly genetically modified in the United States include corn, soy, canola and sugar beet. Certifying organizations, such as the Non-GMO Project, verify food products that are produced without the use of genetically modified organisms or GMO ingredients to help inform consumers who are looking to avoid GMOs.
