Something Extra Fact Sheet

  • Something Extrais a new rewards program especially designed for and tailored to our loyal customers.  It delivers Something Extrain addition to the quality products and exceptional service offered in our stores.
  • Something Extra was created by Raley’s and its strategic marketing partner, dunnhumby, to build a rewards program that is based on data analysis, vendor partnerships, customer communications and delivery of unique and personalized offers.
  • Something Extrais a rewards program for our loyal customers, which awards 1 point for every $1 spent on eligible products they purchase at Raley’s, Bel Air and Nob Hill Foods.  Extra points are also earned in-store for buying certain items and participating in various promotions.
  • Points will be awarded to customers in the form of quarterly reward vouchers that can be used toward savings on future purchases.
  • Something Extraalso delivers personalized offers based on customers’ purchase history and product preferences as well as special perks for participating.  Additionally, Something Extrawill greatly assist Raley's ability to offer the products that loyal customers want specifically in the areas in the store where they want to shop for them. 
  • It is not a traditional loyalty program such as those offered at other retailers, which simply offers a two-tier pricing system – one price for club members and another price for all other shoppers.
  • Customers who choose not to enroll in Something Extrawill continue to be able to take advantage of sales prices, Raley’s Dailies and other in-store sales promotions.
  • Customers can enroll in Something Extrain a variety of ways – Store Ambassadors will be available to enroll customers in all our stores or they can enroll online at and on their mobile device.  Customers earn 200 points upon enrollment and completing their first purchase.
  • Each store will have Store Ambassadors who are Something Extraexperts and will assist customers with the enrollment process and any questions they have about the program.  In addition, the Raley’s Service Center will be staffed with call center agents to assist our customers. 
  • Customers an also earn cash for their local school or youth organization every time they shop by enrolling in Something Extraand signing up for Raley’s Extra Credit program. This program replaces Raley’s Quality of Life program. Raley’s absorbs all costs of the Extra Credit program to ensure that 100% of all money earned will go directly to the selected organizations.
  • Items not eligible for earning points through the Something Extraprogram are fluid milk, lottery tickets, postage stamps, alcohol, tobacco, money orders and other in-store services, prepaid cards, gift cards, tax, fuel and fuel services, ecart handling fees, CRV and pharmacy items reimbursable by government health care programs.
