Drink water!  In any shape or form, sparkling, enhanced with fruit essence, or do it yourself with fruit slices, like lemon, strawberries, oranges, lime slices, etc. Drink a glass of fresh water first thing in the morning before anything else, then through out the day, especially before a meal or snack.  Good idea to stop around 7p.m. so as not to interrupt our valuable sleep.

Water is cleansing, and filling.  Often, we will think we are hungry when we are actually thirsty.  Making sure we hydrate consistently through out the day results in less overall calories being consumed during the day.  In addition, I find for those who tend to sit  at a computer for long periods, the need for elimination helps get us out of our chairs more frequently through out the day, giving us a little extra movement which does the body good!
