Fiery Grilled Asparagus
Fiery Grilled Asparagus
1-1/2 lb. fresh asparagus
3 tbsp. hot chili sesame oil (in our Asian Foods aisle)
3 tbsp. rice vinegar
1-1/2 tsp. sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
1-1/2 tsp. McCormick Toasted Sesame Seeds
Prep time: 5 minutes, Cook time: 5 minutes

Rinse asparagus and trim off bottom of stalks. Grill over
high heat for about 5 minutes, turning frequently, until
crisp tender and lightly charred.
Remove from grill and place in a large bowl. Whisk
together oil, vinegar and sugar in a small bowl. Pour
over asparagus and toss well to coat with
mixture; season with salt and pepper. Place on a
platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve at room
temperature or chilled as an appetizer or
side dish.

Makes 8 servings.
