Maple Apple Sausage Patties
Maple Apple Sausage Patties
2 lbs. ground pork
1 cup finely chopped green apple
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/3 cup maple syrup
2 tsp. sage leaves
Salt and black pepper to taste

Prep: 20 minutes, Cook: 15 to 20 minutes, Serves: 12

1. In a medium bowl, mix together pork, apple, onion, syrup and sage.

2. Shape into 1½-inch patties and season with salt and pepper. Fry in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes per side or until pork is cooked through to an internal temperature of 145°F.
