Ham with Tangy Cherry Sauce
Ham with Tangy Cherry Sauce
1 (1- lb.) bag frozen dark sweet cherries, thawed
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 tsp. finely grated orange peel
1 lb. sliced ham

Prep: 10 minutes, Cook: 15 to 20 minutes, Serves: 6

1. Place cherries, honey and vinegar in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat slightly and simmer over medium-high heat for 15 minutes or until liquid has cooked off and mixture is thick and syrupy. (Mixture will thicken as it cools.) Stir in orange peel.

2. Heat ham in a skillet or under the broiler for several minutes on each side. Serve warm sauce over ham.
