Savory Southern Grits
3 cups milk (can use skim)
3/4 cup chicken broth
3 tbsp. butter
3 cloves Christopher Ranch Roasted Garlic, minced
3/4 cup instant grits
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. salt
Freshly ground pepper to taste

Prep: 10 minutes, Cook: 15 minutes, Serves: 8

1. Bring milk, broth, butter and garlic to a boil in a large saucepan. Reduce heat to low and stir in grits. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, for 10 minutes.

2. Stir in cheese, salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
