Limoncello Ricotta Gelato
Limoncello Ricotta Gelato
1 cup whipping cream
1 cup Sunnyside Farms Milk
1/2 cup Raley's Sugar
1/4 cup limoncello ( lemon liqueur)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
zest of 1 lemon

Prep: 20 minutes, Chill: 2 to several hours, Serves: 8

1. Whisk together all ingredients in a medium bowl until sugar has dissolved; cover and chill until very cold. Press through a fine mesh sieve with a rubber scraper, discarding any solids left in sieve. 

2. Pour into the bowl of an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer’s directions; remove paddle. May be served immediately or cover and freeze until ready to serve. Best if left at room temperature for 10 minutes to soften before serving.
