Maple Apple Pork Chops
Maple Apple Pork Chops
4 boneless pork loin chops
1-1/2 tsp. dried thyme
Salt and freshly ground pepper
2 tbsp. butter
2 Granny Smith apples peeled, cored and thinly sliced
3 tbsp. pure maple syrup
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 tsp. allspice
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 15 to 25 minutes

Sprinkle pork with thyme, salt and pepper. Melt butter in a
large skillet. Add pork;
sauté over medium-low heat for 5 to 10 minutes per side,
depending on
thickness, until pork reaches an internal temperature of
145°F. Remove from
skillet and keep warm. Add apple slices to hot skillet; cook
and stir for 5 minutes
or until tender. Stir in maple syrup, lemon juice, mustard
and allspice. Return pork
and any juices to skillet and cook for 1 minute more.
