Memphis Moppin' Sauce
Memphis Moppin' Sauce
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup minced onion
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
3 tbsp. yellow mustard
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. Tabasco or Louisiana-style hot sauce

This is a basic sauce to brush over ribs during cooking, or serve with cooked ribs as a dipping sauce. Add a little beer or Worcestershire sauce to taste, if desired.

Prep 15 minutes, Cook: 30 minutes, Makes: about 1½ cups

1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.

2. Serve with Memphis Style Ribs.
