Garlic and Dill Marinated Asparagus
Garlic and Dill Marinated Asparagus
1 bunch asparagus
3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
3 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 tbsp. chopped fresh dill
3/4 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. sea salt
2 cloves garlic, minced
large pinch red pepper flakes

Prep: 10 minutes, Cook: 5 minutes, Marinate: at least 1 hour,
Serves: 4 to 6

1. Snap ends off asparagus and discard. Bring 1 inch of water to a boil in a large skillet. Add asparagus and remove from heat; let stand for 5 minutes, then drain and run under cold water to cool.

2. Stir together olive oil, cider vinegar, dill, sugar, sea salt, minced garlic and a large pinch of red pepper flakes in a large resealable bag; add asparagus to bag and seal well.

3. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and remove from marinade before serving.
