Apple Empanadas
1-1/4 cups chopped linguiça
1 cup chopped Raley?s fresh boneless, skinless chicken breast
3/4 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup apple peeled, chopped
1/2 cup salsa
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup chopped pimento stuffed olives
1-1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
1-1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 refrigerated pie crust dough
1-1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Prep: 30 minutes  Cook: 35 minutes  Serves: 4 

1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with lightly greased foil.
2. Cook linguiça, chicken, onion and apple in a large skillet over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in salsa, raisins, olives and seasonings and cook for 5 minutes more.
3. Divide pastry into 4 pieces and shape each into a ball. Roll each out into a 1/8-inch thick circle on a lightly floured board and brush outer edges lightly with water. Place equal amounts of filling on half of each circle and fold over to enclose. Fold 1/8-inch of dough up and press to seal. Crimp using your fingers or a fork.
4. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
