Coffee Caramel Sauce
Coffee Caramel Sauce
6 cinnamon sticks
1 (14- oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 tsp. espresso grind Raley's Coffee

Resist the urge to speed this up by increasing the heat. Cook slowly and stir often to avoid scorching.

Prep: 5 minutes, Cook: 25 minutes, Makes: about 1 cup

1. Place cinnamon sticks and sweetened condensed milk in a small saucepan over very low heat. Cook for 25 minutes, stirring frequently, until thick and caramel colored.

2. Let cool slightly, then carefully remove cinnamon sticks, scraping off caramel sauce.

3. Stir in coffee. Spoon over vanilla or coffee ice cream, or use as a sauce for your favorite desserts.
