Savory Ham and Cheese Stuffed French Toast
4 (1-inch thick) slices Pugliese bread (in our Bakery)
2 tsp. Raley?s Pub Mustard or Sierra Nevada Stout Mustard
2 oz. thinly sliced ham
1 oz. thinly sliced Kerrygold Blarney Castle Cheese (in our Deli)
1/2 cup fat-free half & half
1 Raley?s Egg
1/4 cup instant potato flakes
1 tbsp. olive oil

Prep: 15 minutes Cook: 10 minutes Serves: 2

1. Cut a large pocket into each bread slice. Open pocket as much as possible without tearing and coat the inside with mustard.
2. Stuff with ham and cheese and press firmly to seal as much as possible.
3. Beat half & half and egg in a medium shallow bowl and place potato flakes in another shallow bowl. Dip sandwiches into egg mixture, turning to coat both sides. Immediately drop into potato flakes, turning to coat both sides and pressing potato flakes into the surface to coat heavily.
4. Cook sandwiches in oil in a large skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown, tenting with foil to help melt cheese faster. Serve immediately.
