Steaks with Basil Pine Nut Topper
Steaks with Basil Pine Nut Topper
2 cups fresh basil leaves lightly packed
1/4 cup pine nuts toasted
1 tbsp. Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 cloves garlic chopped
1 1/2 lb. Raley's Beef top sirloin or other grilling steaks California raised USDA choice
Salt and pepper to taste freshly ground
Prep time: 15 minutes, Cook time: 10 minutes

Combine basil, pine nuts, oil and garlic in a blender.
Turn blender on and off until ingredients are finely
chopped, scraping the sides down as necessary; add
salt and pepper to taste. Season steaks with salt and
pepper and grill over medium heat for about 5 minutes
on each side or until steaks are cooked to your liking.
Remove from grill and serve each with a spoonful of
basil mixture.

Makes 4 servings.
