1 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup frozen thawed lemonade concentrate undiluted
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. lemon zest finely grated
Prep time: 45 minutes
Cook time: 12 to 14 minutes

Preheat oven to 350F. Stir together butter, sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Stir in flour and salt until mixture forms a ball (using your hands works best). Roll out half of the dough on a well-floured surface. Using a 2- to 3-inch cookie cutter, cut dough into star or other desired shapes. Place on parchment-lined baking sheets. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned on the edges. Let cool completely on baking racks, then place rack over parchment paper. Combine all glaze ingredients in a small bowl until well blended. Spoon glaze over cookies, letting the excess drip off. Let glaze dry.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
