Chocolate Chunk Soda Bread
2 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped bittersweet chocolate OR
1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup buttermilk

Crusty on the outside, chewy on the inside, this not-too-sweet bread is fabulous when sliced, toasted and slathered with butter or strawberry cream cheese. It also makes wonderful French toast!

Recipe may be doubled.

Prep: 15 minutes, Cook: 35 to 40 minutes, Stand: 10 minutes
