Chocolate Chai Ice Cream

Chocolate Chai Ice Cream
1 cup boiling water
8 Bigelow Chocolate Chai Tea bags
1 cup sugar
1½ tsp. vanilla Extract
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 cups half & half

Prep: 15 minutes, Cook: 5 minutes, Chill: several hours or overnight, 
Makes: 8 servings

1. Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Remove from heat and add tea bags; let stand for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. Remove tea bags and squeeze firmly to remove all liquid. Add sugar, vanilla and cinnamon to saucepan; cook over low heat for 5 minutes to dissolve sugar. Let cool.

3. Stir in half & half and transfer to an ice cream maker. Freeze according to manufacture’s instructions, then remove paddle. Cover and freeze until ready to serve.
