All-American S'more Brownies

All-American S'more Brownies
5 whole graham crackers
3/4 cup melted butter, divided
4 (1- oz.) squares semi-sweet baking chocolate, divided
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2½ tsp. vanilla, divided
3/4 cup flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
3 cups mini marshmallows
3½ cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup evaporated milk

Prep: 25 minutes, Cook: 25 minutes, Serves: 12

1. Preheat oven to 325°F and grease the bottom and sides of an 11x7-inch baking pan. Line the bottom of the pan with graham crackers, breaking if necessary to cover completely.

2. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, stir together 1/2 cup butter and 2 squares of the chocolate. Melt in the microwave; let cool slightly. Whisk in sugar, eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla, then add flour, baking powder, salt and nuts. Spread into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

3. Sprinkle with marshmallows while still warm and pour frosting over the top. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Fudge Frosting: Mix together the remaining 1/4 cup butter and 2 squares chocolate. Stir in 3½ cups powdered sugar, 1/4 cup evaporated milk and 1½ tsp. vanilla, whisking until smooth.
