Teriyaki Meatballs

Teriyaki Meatballs
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
1/3 cup finely chopped water chestnuts
1/2 cup Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki or Very Thick Teriyaki Sauce, divided
3 green onions, sliced
1 egg

Prep: 10 minutes, Cook: 20 minutes, Serves: 4 to 6

1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Stir together beef, bread crumbs, water chestnuts, 2 tbsp. teriyaki sauce, onions and egg in a medium bowl. Roll into 1½-inch balls and place on a lightly greased baking sheet.

2. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through. Toss hot meatballs with remaining teriyaki sauce.  

Wine Suggestion
Pair with Riesling. Slightly sweet (off-dry) to match the sweetness of the teriyaki sauce.

From just reading the recipe I knew it would be delicious! My husband went crazy for the meatballs, and couldn't stop saying "mmmm" all through dinner. I served this with rice and some quick sauteed baby bok choy with garlic and sesame seeds. You bet we'll have this again!
