Grilled Flank Steak with Thai Sweet Hot Sauce

Grilled Flank Steak with Thai Sweet Hot Sauce
2 lbs. Raley's Beef flank steak California raised USDA choice scored diagonally on both sides
1/2 cup of your favorite Asian-inspired marinade (we like Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki)
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup each: white vinegar and water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup chili garlic sauce (in our asian foods aisle), or more to taste

Prep: 5 minutes  Marinate: 15 minutes
Cook: 10 minutes total  Serves: 4 to 6

1. Place steak and marinade in a large resealable plastic bag; marinate for 15 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove beef and discard marinade.
2. While meat is marinating, stir together sugar, vinegar, water and salt in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for about 12 minutes or until reduced by half; stir in chili-garlic sauce and let cool slightly.
3. Grill beef over medium-high heat for 5 minutes on each side or until it’s cooked to your liking. Slice meat thinly on the diagonal and serve with sauce.
