Bordeaux Cherry Sauce

Bordeaux Cherry Sauce
2/3 cup Bordeaux or Cabernet Sauvignon wine
1/3 cup orange juice
1/3 cup dried cherries

Prep: 5 minutes, Cook: 10 minutes, Serves: 2

1. In a small saucepan, stir together wine, juice and cherries. Simmer over low heat for 6 to 8 minutes. Let cool slightly, then puree in a blender* or food processor.

2. Return to pan and cook until hot, stirring in a small amount of additional wine if mixture is too thick. Serve over Game Hens with Cherry Stuffing.

*Use caution when blending hot liquids. Hold blender lid down with a kitchen towel while blender is running.
