Brown Sugar Pumpkin Popcorn Mixx

Brown Sugar Pumpkin Popcorn Mix
1 bag light butter microwave popcorn
10 tbsp. butter softened
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Prep: 5 minutes, Cook: 25 minutes, Makes: 6 cups

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Pop popcorn according to package directions; place in a large bowl and remove any unpopped kernels.

2. Stir together butter, brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice in a large bowl. Add popcorn and pecans; mix well to coat as evenly as possible, using a rubber scraper.

3. Transfer to a large baking sheet with shallow sides and bake for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Let cool, stirring occasionally.

Although it says to bake for 15 minutes, my first time around ended up in an overcooked almost burnt mess. I made a 2nd batch and only had it in their for 12 minutes - huge difference!

I used walnuts and cinnamon, instead of pumpkin pie spice, browning the walnuts in the butter. OMG soo yummy!
