Apple Almond Honey Buns

Apple Almond Honey Buns
3 tbsp. softened butter, divided
2 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup peeled, chopped apple
3 tbsp. chopped Blue Diamond Honey Roasted Almonds
8 Bridgford Parkerhouse Style Roll Dough, thawed
2 tbsp. apple butter

Prep: 20 minutes, Rise: 30 minutes, Cook: 15 to 20 minutes, Serves: 8

1. Stir together 2 tbsp. butter, honey, brown sugar and cinnamon in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat for a few minutes or until brown sugar has dissolved. Spoon equal amounts into 8 lightly buttered muffin cups and sprinkle with apple and almonds.

2. Roll each bun into a very thin oval on a lightly floured board. Spread with remaining butter and apple butter. Roll up tightly and place in muffin cups. Let stand in a warm spot to rise for 30 minutes.

3. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake honey buns for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned and cooked through. Let stand for 5 minutes, then invert onto a plate.
