Mexican Hot Chocolate Sauce

Mexican Hot Chocolate Sauce
1 (4- oz.) bar Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Dark Chocolate or other dark chocolate
1/3 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. coffee liqueur
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

Prep: 5 minutes, Cook: 1 minute, Serves: 1 to 2

1. Break chocolate into pieces. Combine with heavy cream and butter in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave on HIGH for about 1 minute, stirring every 20 seconds.

2. When butter and chocolate are melted, stir in remaining ingredients. Serve warm over vanilla, chocolate or coffee ice cream. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon, if you like.
